End of the second week ALREADY? or "awww, we just got here!"

Apparently, the time is flying by for the kiddos, too!
We began our journey through the alphabet this week...
Aa, Bb, Cc, and Dd filled our time along with some Nursery Rhymes.
JACK AND JILL   and   HEY DIDDLE DIDDLE
We glittered Jack's pail with water,
We painted a yellow moon with bubbles and added watercolor to make big colorful bears!
Our snacks have been awesome...apples and animal crackers, blueberry muffins, cheezits and cranberry juice, and delicious donuts!!! Mmmmmm!!!
Two favorite books this week:The Very Hungry Caterpillar (Board Book)Q Is for Duck: An Alphabet Guessing Game

We learned about giving and taking "good advice" and how to talk through a problem.
  1. Ask the offender nicely yet assertively to stop, remembering manners. Say exactly what you wish stopped.  This is where most problems get solved....kids sometimes are not aware their behavior is bothering others and they will quickly stop, apologize, and state their plan for the future.
  2. If offender does not quit and will not offer an apology, you get to ask more forcefully
  3. If still no change, you let me know so we can fix it together.
This process works wonderfully to help kids not be a victim or a tattler.  It gives everyone a voice !

Finally...PICTURES!

Waiting to practice our Dd's
stamping up!
